Why most training video fails

JUDGED ON THE WRONG THING

Most training video is judged on how it looks. The better question is whether anyone finishes it. You can hire 8K cameras and a long shot list and still make a module people close after two minutes, because resolution was never the reason anyone kept watching.

PAY ONCE, OR PAY TWICE

Brief it to a cheap freelancer and the saving shows up on screen, in a module nobody finishes. Brief it to a do-everything agency and the shoot gets subcontracted to people you never meet, so your budget pays for a management layer instead of the work. A full-service agency subcontracts the shoot and bills you for the management layer. With us, your whole budget goes into the content, and the team that scopes it is the team that makes it.

Yes, mostly. Sometimes we bring in external people to handle specific tasks. We might hire lighting specialists and extra videographers, depending on the shoot's size, type, or style. We build out a team as needed.

Yes. Most learning projects start from material that already exists: a lecture, a set of slides, a written module, or a subject expert who knows it cold but is not a presenter. We turn what teaches well on the page into video that teaches well on screen, and keep your expert accurate.

A learning or training film is a premium investment, scoped to the project: the number of modules, shoot days, locations and how much animation or graphics you need. Tell us what you are building and we will scope it and give you a clear, no-obligation quote.

Most single modules run from brief to final delivery over a few weeks, covering the Truth Hunt, pre-production, the shoot and post. For a full library we agree a batch schedule up front so your platform fills steadily.

We are a UK specialist with our HQ in Lancaster, working across the UK and internationally, including regularly in Manchester and London. We film in our studio or on location, wherever the teaching or the site is.
